Air Pollution Video Documental (Draft)

Finally, my friends and me completed the documental about the Air Pollution in El Paso Texas. The teacher told us that "this" was a draft...that makes things a bit harder for us. Anyway, I will be posting the update of the video later on.

Solar Power/Eco Thinking

Today I bought my first Solar Powered electronic! It's a clock that can use Solar Power through some tiny cells.

This is the first step into my dream! A solar powered house with a sport electric car. It's always awesome to help the envirment and more important the people that live in it. For example, as I was going to my truck from Target, I meet this girl seeking for money because her truck went out of gas. My friend rapidly said that he only had a credit card, I searched my wallet and gave her 4 bucks. She was really grateful and seeing her smile made feel so good inside. 

We really need to start taking into consideration caring for others, if we don't then what was the point of more than 2000 years of human history? To waste our natural sources and just live our lifes the way we always wanted? SUV's, gold, money, sex, pleasure....etc...I know that people want things etc, but is just a "want" which is diferent from a need. When you care for your "wants" people are thinking over and over about their "needs" for example, food, education, clothes, etc...while you are thinking on cars, houses, money, gold, sex, etc...

What will you do to help the planet or others from here in 10 years?

So I found this ocarinas I already knew from the game of Zelda - The Ocarine of Time, BUT I never hear them before.

I bet you saw it before, is impossible not to recognize this ocarinas, but have you ever hear them play in real life? or have you ever seen them in real life? Well, here's a video just to show you how explendid this ocarinas can be.

I think I'm going to consider buying one, I used to play the flute but I never liked the really soft sound they make, an ocarina is a bit more on a higher octave. I play the piano as well, so this might be interesting near the future. :)

Earth Hour - Are you going to vote?

It seems that there's something called the "Earth Hour" which is today at your local time 8:30 PM. All around the world people will just turn off your unnecessary lights for one hour straight and this is going to give the earth a little break. Is not much, but at least we can contribute somehow. Is kind of dumb that I don't really have to do anything because there aren't any unnecessary lights in this house. 

The truth is that there's a hole in this "Earth Hour" plan, as you can see the whole idea of doing this is to make the electric generator plants to stop emitting CO2 for a straight hour. The problem is that electric power plants do not store the energy that is produced, which means that the energy is completely wasted and the cause is useless unless the electricity companies agreed to lower the waste of electricity while this event is going on.

 

"Electricity that is produced is not stored (because there is no practical, cost effective means of doing so). Thus because the electricity that is produced is not stored, Earth hour actually wastes the energy that was produced during the hour rather than saving that energy. Due to this technicality, Earth hour is only really a symbolism of conservation rather than an actual conservation or saving of energy and in real terms, Earth hour does not actually lower emissions. Lowered emissions can only actually be realized if the power generation companies commit to lowering their output during the event."

So what's the main idea? Well, this is a "voting" and it means that you are choosing to help or not the world. The campaign is actually wanting to people to change the way they think about the way the world is polluting. By doing this people will start polluting less and taking more care of the pollution they make for future generations.

Spring break comes to an end.

Well, finally I have to go back to school tomorrow, I feel really tired and stressed because of the homework they leaved...it didn't even felt like a break. Anyways I think I had fun since I went out with my friends a couple of times :D It was funny and made me forget about loads of stuff that happened hahaha. I also got to level up my character on DOMO (Dream Of Mirror Online) up to 24 Wizard. 

Another thing I did was to reach the 2000 pageviews on my deviantart! It's amazing to have people that watch me every time I write or upload anything. I'm really thankful with them, so I created a piece just for them.
